I searched for this but couldn't fimd anything worthwhile. Apologies in advance if this is posted in the wrong forum.
Is it possible to isolate vocals completely, as in strip vocals and discard the rest of the information? I am relatively new to producing and was thinking that recreating a song would be a good way to start. Can SoundForge/Wavelab do this?
Thanks to all who reply!
noob question @ isolating vocals

Did you try 'Extra Boy'

It has a vocals only preset (quality of which depends on your material).
However, I'm working on an improved version (maybe)
