I posted this at Camel Audio's Forum a week ago, but I gather they've been out at the Musikmesse. Have not heard from anybody.

The Cameleon 5000 soft synth does not load as a plug-in into Cubase SX3. I have Mac OS10.3.8 running on a G5.

I go into Plug-In Information in Cubase, and it's listed there and coded as "unloadable."

Anybody have the same thing happen to them? Any solution suggestions?

that's strange.
I'm using C5000 in SX3 with OS10.3.8.
it shows up fine in my computer.

do you have latest version? 1.5.1

According to the AAS site (downloads section), the latest version is 1.0.1.

Where did you find version 1.5.1?

I recommend filling out a support query form (after checking the faq's) at the camel audio website with your details like your serial number, platform, etc and the Mac specialist will be able to help you out.

On my planet, AAS does not make Cameleon. AAS makes Tassman and Ultra Analogue.

On my planet, I got VERY confused!

It's the AAS site it was posted on, not Camel.

I'm experiencing SoftSynth Blur, a known malady to basement recording studio dwellers where overuse of plug-ins causes one to mix them up and cause general confusion, hallucinations, and bizarre message board postings.

Please accept my apologies!

But is is Ultra-Analogue which does not load as a VST!!!

Yes, Cameleon is great. It's actually pretty amazing.

It's Ultra Analogue that won't load as a VST in Cubase SX3 in my Mac OSX.

Actually maybe you should change the thread title to name the correct plugin you are seeking help with too? Other wise peeople will miss the question...!!!
