HI
What part can you not understand?
I said the link is not working.
I then said the people from RAM records live near me.
Flipper.

That's a nicely done set, lightshy! I've just given it a listen at work and I really enjoyed it - gonna keep this one. My comments/suggestions:
[3:37] eq/loudness inconsistency - the first track is a bit louder and more sparkling on the highs than the second one, making the second track sound initially dull and quiet
[12:50] I don't like the way the choir/pad texture from the ending track disappears, it leaves some sort of underpressure - perhaps a loop+longer fade or a reverb tail would make it smoother
[22:22] what happened here? seems like the stop button was pressed on the CDplayer by mistake
If you want to keep that instant transition, do it a bit earlier, so that it happens with the bass drum, not the snare. Add some sort of a reversed crash or a burst of filtered noise before it happens to prepare the listeners a bit.
[29:17] is that tape roll really necessary?
[49:17] that hard beat disappears too abruptly, keep it on until the "sleeping policemen" slows down, perhaps with a hipass fade in the end
[ending] those sleeping policemen could use a longer fade out

hey that's the way the original tracks ends...Paulie Phonick wrote:[12:50] I don't like the way the choir/pad texture from the ending track disappears, it leaves some sort of underpressure - perhaps a loop+longer fade or a reverb tail would make it smoother
lol. i thought it would be coool to drop the tune with that subbbass part. isn't it?Paulie Phonick wrote:[22:22] what happened here? seems like the stop button was pressed on the CDplayer by mistake
the mix is recorded on traktor dj studio, and the mouse cursor skipped to the wrong deck.Paulie Phonick wrote:[29:17] is that tape roll really necessary?

again, that's the ending of the track...

yeah, but that's where things got really nasty. i f**ked things up with the track i was cueing.
and thanks again for the listen and the comments
