Free Web Host Recommendations Please

Dancetech.com seems ok, (well what else do you want for
free right?), but I dont like the name "Dance" in the heading, that might put off some of my target welcoming heads in my somber space contraption.

There are so many out there, just dont know whats good or not?
I was hoping to narrow down my choices with the help of you KVR goers.

Don't cut corners when deciding who/where/how for your web hosting.
*Free* webhosting is a myth, anyway.

Find a good hosting service, approved by both Chamber of Commerce and ISP Association in your country of residence. If you live in Europe, don't get your site hosted in California, and vice-versa.

Tell me which country you're in and I'll recommend someone.

If it's somewhere to host your site, free is as free does.
In other words, you'll either have to have banners or you'll find a filesize limit for uploading or you won't be able to upload mp3's or... etc etc.
Again, Spe3d does a fair deal on affordable webspace, or you could try one and one. I use them. Never had a problem, but I'd compare with Spe3ds deal first.

But, I repeat, do beware disreputable *host* facilities.

You will be up for spoof invoicing, lost files, no customer feedback, downtime, the whole caravan + camels, man !

absolutely, however his site doesn't yet have the exposure of others...I use Spe3ds and soundclick....spe3d's deal is sweet and a good way to get a domain name...I pay ten bux a month for soundclick, but there is a lot of exposure there. So I hope to use space on spe3ds site for "unreleased" music, callboration or works in progress and soundclick to showcase my songs. My signature is two links...'Hink's Eminant Domain' is spe3ds site, (but the music link takes you to soundclick), the workshop is spe3d's place and my sig itself goes to sounclick...When it comes to spe3d besides being a good deal, you're dealing with a person with strong character and a real class act.

FWIW you can get free space on soundclick if you don't mind a bland page, however streaming from them bumps your music up their charts and radio stations. Funender.com is a good free one too...I get a lot of net station play from them...

Just thinking of finding a host myself. Audioshot's looking good to me..
