recording streaming audio?

i want to grab a bit of audio from a streaming real audio presentation (can't download it, i don't think...)is there any way to do that, and then convert it to .wav and edit it?

You can try to record it whit any recordining software, by choosing " what you hear " option in your soundcard mixer.
