Searching for Hotbop: Anyone heard from him?

I haven't heard from Hotbop in almost 4 months now.

I was working on a collab with him and jdg, and he just sort of disappeared without notice in late December 2004. Last I heard from him was that he was going to check out my take on a new collab we were going to start... but then nothing. And he'd typically give a heads-up when he was going on holiday, so it's unlike him to go completely silent in the year+ I'd known him before that.

So I'm pretty worried. I know there's nothing I can do for him, being halfway around the world. But I'd at least like to know if he's okay (as well as his family). So if there's anyone who might have an idea how to help, I'd really appreciate it.

In real life he's Michael Quooss, and his website is http://www.michaelquooss.de/. Unfortunately, the 'whois' record for his site doesn't have contact information. As of last I knew, he was residing in Germany (with holidays in Spain), but I don't know what city.

Any help or information is welcome.

maybe more pages you spam someone's addy in.. the more chance its going to get picked up for use by spammers.. but we all love spam right?

how stupid of me - you're right of course - I simply copied the adresses without deleting the '@'... - I've edited them now!

Thanks jens: any chance you could make a call and inquire? Not being a native speaker and in another hemisphere makes me doubt my chances.

EDIT: Actually, I'm not even sure what country that phone listing is for, Germany or Spain?

I've definitely heard that, and I suppose seen it on all the Musikmesse videos.
