Well??
I believe the answer is 'toaster' but I'm not quite sure yet.

it is an established fact that it is impossible to make amateurish music with pro-tools. every fool knows this.
and it can be proved by analogy.
- it is impossible to take a bad movie with an expensive video camera
- it is impossible to drive badly in an expensive car
- it is impossible to be poorly paid if you're wearing an expensive suit
so to ensure your music is *always* of the highest quality, buy pro-tools.
obvious isn't it ?

Incredibly talented engineer + great sounding mics and preamps + wildly creative producer + pro-tools = mind blowing music. It's a no-brainer which part of the equasion is easily replaced.....you guessed it, you can always use pro-tools le!
I feel so cold.

Any kind of music can be made with PT. I know plenty of non-pro musicians and producers here in Nashville that use it. Of course, one reason that many of them use it is because they are trying to get higher in the industry, and if you want to get into the "industry" here in Nashville, you have to know either PT or Nuendo, cause that's all they use.
But by all means, you can make any kind of music you want with PT. And hey, it's a pretty good deal to get an MBox or even now M-Audio hardware, both being used with PT, for under $500, which is cheaper than many hosts. I do have a PT system, although I remain a loyal Tracktion user. I do love PT though, as it has alot of power, and I do use it.
