Is there some sort of global MIDI control or is the MIDI control associated with each preset? I'm trying to setup SS2 with my UC-33 controller and it loses its settings everytime I load a combi or preset. The MIDI control is useless if it doesn't have a global setting that works with anything I load in.

Volume, pan, and the four "macro" controls are automatically assigned for each instrument.
Additionally, any MIDI CC assignments are saved with a child (variation) preset. So for example if you assign breath (CC#2) to an effect parameter for an instrument, then save a child preset, any time you load that child preset in the future, the same MIDI CC assignment will be loaded too.
