I've been using my Korg microKontrol to control my Cubase SX mixer, but encountered some problems using the rotary encoders for the panning of the channels. As far as I was informed, rotary encoders send increase/decrease values (-1/+1), but when I change the panning with my mouse and afterwards try to change my panning with the encoders, the panning first jumps to the last value of the encoder. I tried to turn on the flag 'relative' in the device settings in cubase, but that doesn't work. Does anyone have a solution? (Maybe the trouble lies with my microKontrol and not Cubase?)

BTW: My encoders work fine in Reason so the problem lies definitely with Cubase. Anyone?

Which version of SX are you using?

Have you tried asking on the official forum yet?

Made almost the same post on the official forum. Had one answer there, but it didn't work. Im working with SX2, but bought SX3 yesterday online.
