Should I upgrade to Vegas 6

I recently reinstalled Vegas 2 with the intent of doing some video, don't have a very good video camera, but can do some fairly decent videos with what I have, and have done some animations in the past and since I have alot of time on my hands lately thought it would be fun to do some projects to go with my music. I love the way Vegas works, also have Premiere 6 but never could figure it out too well. My question is this, I recently received an upgrade offer to Vegas 6 that is pretty decent and was wondering if anybody has it, would they recomend going to 6, Has Sony screwed up the program since they took over Sonic Foundry. Is it worth upgrading for $150. I have till the end of May to decide, I just want to know if it is money well spent. Any advice will be appreciated.

vegas three was excellent. four was flat. five very good. six is buggy. i'd wait until 7.

If I wait I probably won't get the same offer, I could get 6 and see how the bug fixes go, SF was always good about doing updates, but now that Sony has control, will they go the root of some devs and not fix anything till the next version comes out. Thanks for the suggestion.
