Hey everyone,

I purchased Sample Tank (a light version) about a year ago with a group buy through this forumand absolutely love it. I compose simply for myself as a hobby, and it fits my needs wonderfully. I run it with Cubase SE.

However, I would like to expand my sound library. I am looking for Celtic sounds, more of a new age nature, along with any drum loops that would fit. (Think Loreena McKennit or Ceredwen styles). I am especially interested in the drums, some 'haunting' style female vocals and choirs - but some without a lot of lag, where they could be played quickly.

The questions are:

Can I purchase any samples or audio, and I could load them into Sample Tank? Is it easy to do?

And does anyone have suggestions for a good library, not too expensive, for the above?

Thank you.

Mark

I just got an email from esounds saying they now sell inidividual sounds for sampletank. i don't know if they work with a "light" version, but you might want to check their new website. :)

You can use other samples, if you convert these to ST1 or ST2 format.

Currently there are 2 converters that I know of which support SampleTank export format:
- Extreme Sample Converter
- Chicken Systems' Translator
