Just was wondering if anyone has this system... I know it has SL3 (which I want really bad, sx3 is too darn expensive) but I also have an emu 1212m so would I be better off just getting SL3 for $100 less or is the interface worth it? I guess what I am wondering is the interface self-contained...do I need an external soundcard with it? Does the interface function as a soundcard and preamp pretty much? I use a m-audio mobile pre but I am not too happy with the preamps on it and I assume that the preamps steinberg uses are better but I could be wrong. I like the emu but I would like to free up my 2 pci slots for a future UAD card purchase. If anyone who has any info. or has used this themselves could reply I would appreciate it! BTW, I use Cubasis VST 5 right now. Thanks!!
