Live 4 and sequencing vsts

hi guys,

well i recently searched for a simple sequencer to use in live 4.
i found 2 interesting vstis:

stepmachin (http://www.rozzer.net/plugins.html)
and
stepchild.

but i didnt manage to make the work in live. live recognizes them as vsti (thats right) but i cant route any midi to another vsti. these both sequencer even dont start when i hit the play button. in orion they both work normally and are fully functional.
any hints from your side?

Live doesn't handle MIDI transmitting plugs well. Use EnergyXT as a VSTi in Live and load them into EnergyXT along with what you're trying to sequence and do it inside EXT. The other alternative is to use MIDIYoke and route it from stepchild or stepmachine to MIDIYoke, and from MIDIYoke back into Live.
