whats so special bout hydra really? i tried the demo before and wasnt that amazed.. ok, its not bad, but the gui is a little "slow", or how i should put it. the sound isnt all that either tbh, the Fire option is interesting, but well.. nothing is really more special than anything else imo. what am i missing here? i see all these top producers using it, so it must be something?
i have sonalksis eq, so i'm not really looking for something new, tho the URS Fulltec one is something i _really_ believe could fit right into my list of needed tools. wish i could afford it already..

Without even knowing the style of music you do, I am sure you will love VT on bass and vocals.

It is grafted onto Gigastudio 3.
Makes samples sound real, IMO.
Just remmeber to put it last (or as close to last as possible to achieve desired output levels) before your soundcard, and watch the levels.
This is the only real problem with this plug, and one I plan to ask the company about soon. It distorts easily (before it goes red often), which can make it hard to achieve high enough output levels.
But it is far and away the finest tube emulation of any kind I've encountered.
I like it more than Hydratone.
