Hello All
I'm quite new to mixing and a friend recommended using a spectral analyer plug in to view the frequencies of different tracks so I can visually see the span they are covering. I mainly need it to make sure that the kick drum and bassline aren't mudding each other up. Can anyone recommend a freeware analyzer simple enough for a newbie to use? Someone recommended Voxengo Span, but said that it was very heavy on CPU. I think Tobybear has one too. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks

I use one called the Inspector.
It's got a set of little nifty alarms, and it's not cpu hungry.
The Freakoscopeis cool, too.
