i will never pay that much for a single song until the dollar is worth much less.. right now i'm paying $0.10 per track -10% if i buy the whole album at www.mp3search.ru ..

i'm sorry to say, but you are never going to sell anything until you lower your price to less than $1..

that is my prognostication...

btw - people in china make often times $1 per day...

If I read correctly luxx is only selling his own mp3's... The only way you can get them is by paying $3 per song

I had a look at mp3search.ru... As far as I can tell it looks very illegal. Or maybe only legal for customers in Russia...

i don't think mp3search is illegal.. i think they're just in russia where the economy is very different... i had heard about those sites years before i actually found mp3search..
but anyway - don't you think $3 per song is just crazy though? i can't think of a single person who would pay that..

Yes I agree, $3 per song is silly, but I wasn't going to buy anyway.

Regarding mp3search.ru: Did you find anything on their website indicating that it's legal? At most other online music sites I cannot dl some of the stuff because I'm not in the US... I didn't find anything about that on this site... (I mean: It should be reversed for non-US sites

)

Yes huge labels can sell the music for very cheap. My music is for dj's. When they buy a record with 2 songs on it it is around $10.

well.. that is beginning to make sense.. ok...

and i don't see anywhere that says "we are not crooks" on mp3search.ru - but the sire is pretty simple.. some features are missing and the databases arent complete - you'll find an artist/song/album that you like on there - but you must have the link to reach it - the search feature wont show everything..
they definately aren't just for russians because when you select english your prices are shown in USD...
i've made three deposits to them and i havent had a problem..

except my local bank calling to be sure i actually made the transactions.. heh..

woah..! and today mp3search has been updated a bit - the search feature is changing and i'm getting 200k downloads when before it was 140k if i was lucky..
gettin Infected Mushroom's The Gathering album for 81 cents right now

encoded at 320kbs too..!

k - to prove my point - here is another russian mp3 store - audiostore.ru - again $0.10 per track and this one looks all professional.. i'm gonna try it and see what it's transfer speed is like..

uh oh.. uh oh.. crap.. bad transfer speed here - about 40k.. but they have a different selection than mp3search.. and this site has genres.. heh..

ooo! but get this - it's letting me download 15 tracks at once - all at above 20k..

also this site has a deeper discount for entire album purchases - -30%

mmm! and i must add that now it let me buy a 'Gold Discount Card' for $5 and i now get 50% off everything i buy!!
