Interesting!
Has anybody tried this vst version? I would love to hear some comments on the sound quality of this plugin. Maybe more of you know of the RTAS version?
too bad there arent a demo version on the site

I have that VST plug in from Diamond Cut. I don't use it because of a problem I tried to get help on in Sonar4 and Adobe Audition hosts - it was outputting +300dbmfs of audio (measured using Rmsbuddy) to my 24bit soundcard while using certain presets.
If you look on the Diamond Cut forum you can search for my post. I was very surprised how one of the developers turned it in to my problem and in an email to me told me he wasn't going to fool around with me on this anymore.
Bottom line - if you're going to mess around with that plugin do yourself a favor and set a brickwall about +2dBfs or you might lose your monitoring, hearing or both... I may use that plug some time in the future but I doubt it. Without support I'm not interested.
PS - I also have a hard copy of the forum thread - the developer was deleting and changing texts in my posts...good god!

The Voxengo Analog Flux bundle has a tape simulator, haven't heard it though.Chectk it here http://www.voxengo.com/analogflux/ Also the Voxengo Warmifier http://www.voxengo.com/warmifier/ And Antare's Tube http://www.antarestech.com/products/tube.html And there's probably a bunch of freeware VST's in this vein if you look.
