automation in flstudio

some questions about knobs and automation in flstudio...

Is there a way for a more precise tweaking of knobs?

Is there a way to record controller automations as automation clips, or i only can draw them?

Do you feel confortable in automation editor window? It seems not very precise to me and difficult to handle...for istance, if I automate pitchbend channel wheel by drawing it, it's hard to return exactly to the middle position (always some cents up or down) any tricks?

How do you set an automation clip's envelope to exact staring and ending values? I always get approx results and it's the same if i draw automation in the automation editor window!

sorry for the long post but i need some help i don't get from the manual...
