Hello everybody!! I've a VST host called Brainspawn Forte that i use while i'm jamming with my friends! I take snapshots of my instrument rack and switch it by pressing the space bar. For example: in the first snapshot i play LH strings and RH piano; then i press the space key (next snapshot) and i've LH synth pad and RH synth lead. There's a way to do something similiar with Cubase SX? I can also use a CC trigger instead of the space bar if needed!

A possible means is to create a Midi track for each pair of sounds, using a Midi send to play the second VSTi.
With transformer inserted on the send and inline on the main track either note numbers or midi channels may be filtered (depends on how you currently split the keyboard)
With the record enable on selected track preference set, multiple tracks may be configured to route/send to different instruments or channels, and using the up down arrows will change the track, and therefore will play the different instrument pairs.
Maybe not as elegant as taking snapshots, but as far as playability, it seems to work well.
Bas.

See the links to my free guides to Sx2, there are examples of the transformer, input transformer and so on, under the Midi plugins document.
See if they help, and if not then I could expand on some of the info.
