Originally I wanted to make ISOs of my CDs so that they'd be actuall "true" copies. I've changed my mind and I've decided to settle with lossless compression. Can anyone recommend something that will have the following features:

1. Uses or at least CAN use a CDDB/Gracenotes lookup
2. Will automatically rip an entire CD to a given directory, including proper names
3. Will automatically create a playlist to go with the album

Also, optionally/additionally I'd be curious to know if there's a standalone player out there that will run from disc (ie. not need to install codecs and stuff to the host computer) so that I can play back directly from the DVD in any PC I care to take it to.

There's a FLAC plugin for Winamp. Doesn't Winamp do all those things listed?

No idea about the run from disc option, but I'd guess no.
