I have a college friend who's class uses wavelab for sound anaylysis for scientists who need them to investigate sounds and so forth. Anyhow, I am allowed to go there everynow and then and use some tools to master my music. The results are excellent in most cases but the volumes are never at a fixed rate. Is there a way in wavelab to export to mp3 at a fixed volume? I'm sure there is but I am at a loss.

Thanks

Let your friend analyse the RMS value, and raise (or lower) overall volume until its -17 or -14dB, or whatever.

I guess you need some compression & limiting. And stay away from MP3, or do not call it "master", ok?
My MusicCalc is temporary offline.
We are the KVR collective. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated. :borg:

What? The poor guy can't match levels before exporting to mp3?? I don't get it.
