I know a few already know this........and I know a few were susupicious, and rightfully so, of this...but for the rest that don't know, well, now you do.
The reason for "anonymous" beginnings of pro-sounds is simply that we (My Partner and I) weren't sure exactly how, or even if, it would work to open a commercial preset company. So, rather than having the company fail, and the 2 of us looking like fools....we just kind of made it a seperate thing......however...partly to our suprise and partly coz of our hard work....pro-sounds has really taken off. We've got a nice sized release catalog under our belt.....which is just as large, if not larger than our competitors catalogs....We make a pretty decent income from it.....and we're finally getting some of the respect I feel we deserve in the magazine circuit with our new PS-1 VSTi........so we felt it's high time you know who at least 1 of us is. So yes, that was me, frank genus, in the computer music mag issue 86 lookin all pissy in my interview picture. lol. Scary mutha aint I? Anyway, I know I have been guilty of some thread bumping and what not in the past when pro-sounds was just starting out.....but I don't apologize for it....it's very hard to get people to pay attention when you're first starting out.....especially in these parts....this hasn't happened in a very long time though, as it is no longer necessary. So, uh yeah. lol. anybody shocked? anybody upset? lol. anybody relieved? lol.
Anyway, just want to let everybody know that me coming forward with this does not at all change my role as ToTc Productions. I will still continue to offer all of my current services for free, as I always have....and there will still be T3 collabs, and new free preset banks of only the highest quality for you to download from my website. This just means that now you can ask me questions regarding pro-sounds.....and that everybody can understand why i'm always so busy and slow to do things....coz i've got a TON on my plate. lol.
It also means that have to learn to control my firey italian attitude.....as i'm officially a business man now. lol. so my apologies to anyone whom i've gotten into it with. Also, i'd like to personally thank everyone that has ever purchased a pro-sounds product....as you're the reason we've come so far in such a short time. thanx!
