Greetings once again everyone. I'm looking around for a trance gate, and nothing else. No synth or anything, but just a VST dedicated to a trance gate. I'm working on some pads and I need it for one. Also, does anyone know if it is possible to have a trance gate go at a normal rate then sort of slow down, like gradually slow down. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Steve.
I know I have got a negative edge, that’s why I sharpen all the others a lot.

Take a look at 'CamelSpace" from camel audio, they have a demo so you can try it. Seems to be a fairly sophisticated trance gate let alone all the other included fx

Might be a good excuse to buy and learn SynthEdit. Then you could roll your own to order.

CamelSpace is great too. :-) Doesn't match the "and nothing else" criterion, but neither does SE (heh).

I am in fact currently working on a component for a project, which does exactly this. Stereo trancegate with ability to speed up / slow down with any rate continuously. It can be synced of course too.

When do you need it?

Anytime would be fine. I'm in no rush, but I would really love to see what you are working on.

As for the rest of you, I cannot believe there were so many replies when I came back, you guys are always so helpful. I know a little synth edit, but not enough to create a trance gate or anything. I'm busy at this time, working on a huge soundfont for everyone and this is gonna be part of it (a few pads with a trance gate in the background somewhere. After all of this is said and done though I do plan to learn a few things, Synthedit being one, as well as a few other things. Thanks for the help and the links. Your help is deeply appreciated, believe me, I had the hardest time tryna find one.

OK, then I don't have to stress me. :)

btw: Can it slow down and speed up? And how it is triggered?

On my plug, you actually could edit the parameter value for each step and specify the speed of slide ...

and route it to panorama, stereo spread and volume and ...

well :(

 you bastard stole me my customer!

Slow down and speed up - yes - by automation on 'rate' button.

It's realy pretty simple - no step edit so 'stress' little bit 'couse yours sounds better.
