I am not ashamed to admit that I like Coldplay. They are one of the few…..THE VERY FEW….mainstream bands that I can say that I like. I don't think they are innovative by any means, but I do like to listen to their "safe" music from time to time.

After listening to this new cd, I must say that the production IMO is horrible. Not that their other ones are much better but this one is just squashed all to hell. I do think a band like this would benefit from a more dynamic production. Hopefully one day they will begin to break some rules.

On another note…I have decided that their drummer is just L.A.M.E. The drums are about as weak as they get on this new cd.

Just my opinion…..

huh, why would you have to be rich to listen to U2...

no I get it, I think coldplay can talk for themselfs, and comparing them to U2 is silly...they're totally dif bands.

[in my best David Spade impression] Coldplay. yea, i like Coldplay... but i liked them a lot better the first time when they were called RADIOHEAD.

Well, U2 are a lazy persons conscience. Or so Bonno would love to think.

Coldplay is fine, Although I don't own any of thier CD's.

But just dont get me started on U2

God I hate them and the self-rightous pig they rode in on!

Some of the music is ok, but I wish the c**t would stop doing that falsetto thing every f**king line.

right on. I was put off after buying that first CD 'parachutes' and hearing him arse on about "you're great but I'm crap" every bleedin' song

love em or loathe em theyre live on radio one tonight at 7pm uk time

not a huge fan meself but at least they are seen with instruments being played,always a plus in my book when it comes to chart bands

my only real complaint is how come they still manage to sound so whiny?surely after making millions,marrying gwyneth and having a baby he should write at least one happy house tune

Not keen on them personally. I enjoyed a couple of tracks of the first album then it all started to sound the same. Yellow was my fave.

Someone else mentioned the drums, yeah definitely pretty poor.
