Loading Akai S3000 into Sampletank 2 - Is this normal?

Just received my Group Buy bundle and am loving it so far... I'm currently trying to use the Vocal Planet discs from Spectrasonics (Akai S3000) and when I go to preview most sounds - all I get is an incredibly loud hi pitched squealy buzzing hum aka not the sounds I'm looking for

Is this normal? They seem to work okay after converting but just wanted to know if this is what was supposed to happen.

That certainly sounds strange. You got them working ok after converting them though, right? Maybe it's not a big deal. If it is though (maybe you've got another twenty Akai discs to convert!) then it might be a good idea to contact IK tech support to see if there's a known fix or something.

I don't mind not being able to preview as I planned on converting everything anyway - I just had the speakers up and it scared the buggers out of me.

As for the conversion process... I can convert one partition at a time but if I try and convert 2 or more partitions at once, let alone the whole CD - it crashes on me. Bit of a bummer since I do have quite a few libraries to convert so I'll give Tech Support a go in the morning.
