how to get rid of annoying metronome in sonar 4?

Hi everyone,
try as I might I can never get rid of Sonar's metronome count-in when recording. I can turn it off for the project I'm working on, but if I load/start a new pproject, or if I close Sonar and re-open it, I still have to manually turn off the metronome.

Is there no way to do without the metronome count-in as a default. That way, I can turn it on if I want it. I'm tired of forgetting that I have to manually de-selec metronome when I start to record.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Don't complain, most people have been bitching about NOT having a metronome for years...

Load up your blank/template file. Turn off count-in. Save over your template file.
