Hi es007,
I'm biased - cos I made them - but I'd recommend checking out CamelSpace. CamelSpace includes 10 different filter types, and also a trance gate, which I think you'll find very handy, since you write trance. You might also want to check out CamelPhat, if you're after a distortion and compression too. You'll find demo versions, MP3s and such like from the links in my sig.

I want the love this filter, for some odd reason it doesnt actually do unity (dry signal) thru.
the filter is always closed slightly when open full making it a great effect but no good if you want to easy get the original signal back.
hmmm. why do so many filters do this.

Oh indeed yeah, I've got Volcano and Camelspace as well, and Nitro... they're all good and somewhat unique.nibbzious wrote:FabFilter Volcano is awesome... best sounding filter out there. Analog balls.

i'm also biased but towards filterscape. the filter effects are amazing and sound really great, and the EQ section is the most amazing EQ of any plugin around. not just because it sounds really nice, but for the awesome and unparalleled modulation and live control you can have over them. the morphing dial gives you loads of really quick spectral carving power.
coupled with the fact that you get a special EQ-only plugin, and also an absolutely indepsensible and remarkably versatile VA synth included - it really is a great great synth (which also includes that EQ built in as a feature) - the filterscape pack is one that won't disappear from use quickly

Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.
