Anybody tried PSP Easy Verb?

I just tried the Demo of the "PSP Easy Verb" on this page:
http://www.pspaudioware.com/plugins/easyverb.html
and think this is a great plugin.
Is anyone here using this plugin as his main reverb and can share his experience with me?
The only "drawback" in the GUI was that I couldn't find any knob for "predelay" - does anyone know why?
From my tests with it I can tell that I didn't miss the predelay-settings, but somehow it's just odd.

I use it all the time as my aux send verb.
The Ambience algorithm is perfect for adding a little space to things without having to add a whole room, ie, ideal for drum stuff, or, adding bloom to a delayed instrument
The Ambience algo is also v useful as the 1st reverb in a 2 reverb chain. It acts like a "sound catalyst"
I don't miss predelay as IMO it's one of the biggest single contributors to "reverb mush".
Predelay might sound useful when heard in solo mode, but as aux sends in a mix it usually doesn't help. Damping and EQ are what's needed to sculpt a verb into the mix.
I used to use EasyVerb as a master verb too, until I got a convolution verb and some great IRs.
The reason EasyVerb isn't better known is that:
- people like the illusion of loads of useful controls (do you think lots of tweakable knobs and great end results are connected?)
- the "easy" tag makes it sound "baby", when in fact it's a high quality very satisfying piece of kit.
With EasyVerb it's all under the bonnet

I have Easyverb and agree it's great. And strangely I hardly think of using it, for the reasons Kevvvvv said.

You might also try the demo for Stereo Room 2016 from Princeton Digital, there's a group buy going on right now.
I own EasyVerb and I really like PSP's products. Stereo room costs more and does less, but what it does do it does rather well. On a stereo track in Live 4.l.4, I see about 7% cpu usage on a single loop with Stereo Room 2016, 11% with a small room preset in Easyverb.
So I'm very tempted by this group buy.

hey there,
easyverb is superb (and especially for the money)
while I prefer StereoRoom most of the time... EasyVerb is more flexible and very capable... if you use it as a send reverb just put a sampledelay in front of it and you have your predelay - simple as that
and the next update will have a predelay anyway

The sound is great. I use the UAD Plate 140 or Realverb by choice. I'm ashamed to admit also the name does make me subconsciously think it's "baby-ish".
I did sign up for the Princeton GB as well, so until PSP's next update I just don't see myself choosing it over PristineSpaceLT, Plate 140, Realverb or Princeton Stereo Room...

I like Easyverb's spring emu on guitar, but convo
and impulses are usually my first choice for
room ambience
Cheers....CL

I think pre-delay is the exact opposite of turning reverbs to mush. By giving a little breathing space between the dry sound and the first reflections, the sound is more natural and you can use less reverb. You can also time it for rythmic effect. But - I much, much prefer ArtsAcoustic reverb because that can do inverse reverb. Instead of a sudden gap, you can have the reverb ramp up to a peak, and then decay. I find this much more musical. In small amounts it's quite natural, but you can do long reverse reverbs that defy gravity and really catch your attention. This is something only found on really high end hardware.
