I have some nice long sustaining french horns in the beginning .. and when I bounce it to audio, it plays for like 3 seconds then dies off to nothing ... then picks up later on with another midi note but dies off again , and there are little crackles in the audio where it suddenly decides to die out .. ?????? I'm using Sonar3P and the Kontakt2 library as I just got the program a week ago and I've been all excited about finishing this piece ... but now I can't seem to bounce the midi to audio without the audio being different from how the original midi sounds. And I even tried repeating it over and over. My second try, the audio clip of the french horn sustained for a good 6 seconds instead of 3, but alas, it then dropped off in a different place ... it's like it's struggling to copy the track bit by bit ... i just don't get it ... my comp has a gig of ram, plenty of processing power what with an Athlon64 3000+ ... stumped. I'm totally stumped. Any ideas? please?

I'm stumped. I just finished a little classical piece using midi with french horns, piano, cello, and some strings ... and I bounced everything to audio .. and i go to play it back and it's all wrong!

I've had weird things happen from time to time, too. Forgive me for asking, but how long since a full reboot? This kind of thing happens to me at work where I care less about the health of a machine than at home. Sometimes I forget to restart for a week or two and suddenly Flash or some other program just starts to puke nonsense. Then it dawns on me to reboot.CeasefireXXV wrote:I'm stumped. You say you got kontakt2 a week ago... Have you ever been able to successfully render to audio, or are these your first attempts?CeasefireXXV wrote:I'm stumped. Seems to me I recall that some Sonar users have to disable Fast bounce with kontakt (Or was it enable?). Try the opposite setting than what you have it set at.
