When you set a MIDI track O.Ch it does not always get displayed in the track header. (The O.Ch value is used in the output MIDI messages). I can't see the cause of this issue.

Also happens in v1.3.0

Not sure I know what you mean, but I think it might be this:

1. Route a MIDI track to a VST (TriangleII, say). Set the Channel to 1.
2. Nothing will appear in the track header (e.g., "Ch1", as I think you're expecting?).
3. Route another MIDI track to the same VST (you don't need to set a channel).
4. Both track headers will now display the channel correctly.

Something like that?

ceenda,

thanks for the info.

You are right, the channel only appears when more than one track is routed to the VSTi, and the channel is set to something other than "--"

What I was expecting (hoping?) to see is the channel value even if only one track was routed to the VSTi.

Post

confirmed here (doesn't display channel if only one track linked).

DarkStar: Yep, I expect to see the channel displayed even when there's only one track, also. :) I definately consider it a "bug" and not a feature.

Definitely a 'bug'. :ud:
