Hi
I'm really new to this sampling game, so please forgive this question.
I'm loading samples into my sampler (CM DS404). The wav file loads, I map it to a key range, if I click on it in the sampler, the note sounds. But if I play the note on my keyboard, I get nothing. I've had the same problem with Cyclone in Project 5 V2.
Clearly, I'm missing something really basic - both samplers play fine from the keyboard if I load in a preset patch.
Can someone give me a clue?
Utterly stupid newbie question - please help.

are you running ds404 within a host? does your keyboard work fine on other vsts within the host? is the lil MIDI light in the corner showing that DS404 is receiving midi data? for instance....you may have to attach ds404 to a channel and set that channels input to your keyboard and output to the ds404...something like this

Problem solved. USB connection to the keyboard faulty. Thanks for the response.
