I've just played 20 minutes with a vocal track i recorded.
This is amazing....
Easy to use and quality are prefect!
I understand the success of the melodyne products !
How will i be able not to buy it ? (maybe the price)
Makes me see and hear i sing really out of tune !!
But it's so easy to fix with this product...
I Cannot beliebe it...

if it were a plugin, it would be really useful.

I cannot see any advantage to have it as a plugin.steffensen wrote:if it were a plugin, it would be really useful.
Real time processing is impossible with a product that can shorter notes. Cannot travel to the future...
And how would you edit note by note ?
I tried the rythm quantization on strumming guitare and it works great...

so why do the eight track version and the full version work as a vst-plugin then?Ixox wrote:I cannot see any advantage to have it as a plugin.steffensen wrote:if it were a plugin, it would be really useful.

Can someone explains what do you expect from a VST version.
- Something that fix the frequency problems in real time
or
- something that would work as the current version : load the whole file and in which you edit the file at the same time as the other tracks inside the host ?
For me it works great as it is. You load your voca track inside and you make it sing well !!

I would load it in the host, tweak it and then render the desired result from inside the host into the host...Ixox wrote:Can someone explains what do you expect from a VST version.

Can you assign it as a wav editor in a host? It's possible to open wav files in an editor like SoundForge or Wavelab in Sonar, ACID and other hosts, edit the wav and then update the file in the host. This would be how I'd use it.
