No, thank you. I already have BugPass. It´s a great gadget, but you can´t see the frequencies you´re working on. And when you use it as a notch filter the sliders tend to jump back (wich is only funny the first time, afterwards I start using words like : "Bloody, f**king, etc...).

Did you try the SV Filter from Betabugs?
Also, if you just want a simple one, the svfilter in Synthedit is pretty good, you could put one together in that.
Or you could get the KarmaFX modular synth.
There's a notch filter in the Obertone filterbank, but that has a lot of stuff going on, so it may dissuade you from simple.
Analog Industry's Filterizer has a notch filter setting (also state variable).
The Kjaerhus Auto-filter has notch (labelled as band reject).
The Galleoneer MK1 has notch, and is probably your best bet for a simple notch filter, the band-scale adjustment on it is very nice to work with. No LFO on that one though.
Minion on the otherhand has notch filters and LFOs up the wazoo, but might be hard to tame for simple functions.
I recommend you get them all, they all have interseting sounds and might come in handy.

shamann, I´m a little bit ashamed... I stupidly imagined all those filters were wha-stuff. I´ve put immediately The Classic to work, and of course : problem solved. Thanks a lot. rpc9943, just take them from the list !

No shame required. There are so many plugins out there, it is at times difficult to think of things outside of how they're advertised. The Classic can function like a wah, and at first looks like that is its main function.
I still highly recommend trying out the others when you have the time.

A little explaination : I needed the notch filter to clean up a too heavy overdrive-guitar sound (got a bit carried away with my fx-rack, but was too lazy to redo, and curious for a possible solution). It works to a certain point. It can come in handy, but in my case : I´ll redo the guitar parts (holly sh... .. .).

In that case, a parametric EQ is best.
I'd recommend NyquistEQ. Just pull the centre of one-band down, turn off the other bands (click on the coloured lines at the bottom of the GUI), drag the centre around until you hit the offending frequencies, and adjust the two side dots on the line for narrowing/widening the bandwidth. It is a very good line EQ once you are able to use it.

You´re right, the NyquistEQ is a surpising EQ. But in my overdriven sound you had to use an ax ! Lowering volume on a freq. band was not enough; I tried the NyquistEQ and other Eq´s too. When I put the drive in overdrive I go over the top (grew up with Hendrix on the pick-up).
