Hi
I am trying to get back out on the road again, and will be bringing my trusty PC with me. I am looking for a really cpu efficient host without a lot of bells and whistles that I can lay out all of my backing tracks along with time markers / tempo changes as well as host vsts efficiently.
I suppose it will need to support multiple outputs so I can send the main audio out one bus, and the click track out another...
Previously, we had used an Akai HD recorder, and just brought the wav's in simultaneously.
I'm really looking for speed and stability. I have been writing in FLstudio, but don't really feel that its quite what I would want for live use though.
so, any suggestions?

To me, energyXT is the ultimate live host, and it is quite lightweight.

I was going to say Audio Mulch, but I don't know if it supports automated tempo changes - haven't tried that. As it is, even if I don't like it, EXT is probably what you're looking for.

Sadly, no. Not without using some kind of external clock.dystonia_ek wrote:I was going to say Audio Mulch, but I don't know if it supports automated tempo changes - haven't tried that.
