Because it is done through esoundz.com only. We can verify that you purchased both so we would be the ones sending the sound part of the update. The 2.1 software part is valid for any ST2 L or XL user so that would be a download from IK.

No, you are registered as an L user but have the XL discs. However, you qualify for everything having XL would so... same thing. Just technical differences. Of course, most people buy XL in the first place but we made a cool offering there a while back for the L bundle. No worries.ttoz wrote:ahh ok so it's not a true "ST2XL" registration:(

1) Are there any differences in polyphony between the L and XL player?
2)Same multitimbriality?
Any other different features apart from soundset?

Software-wise it is exactly the same everything, same polyphony, same EVERYTHING (same exact thing really).
