I found that ST2 by standard reacts to
CC9 for volume
CC10 for pan
Do we have other controller numbers preassigned? I suppose pitch bend and modulation are, since they work.
Who is actually using a controller for ST2 and how did you organise your CC assignments?
Thanks for input

I am personally using the Keystation Pro 88 but having the damndest time getting it to work with ST2/SS2. I do have a thread going here where people have given me advice..however i must admit I havent had a chance to try their advice before reposting my results..

CC10 for panning is right.
No wonder tritoneman1 has a problem.
I have'nt gotten to the point of messing with CC's directly with ST2 other than whats imbedded in the MIDI tracks. But CC7, 10 seems to work with playing back MIDI tracks through ST2.
We need to dig into this more

Ups, sorry. Looks like this is my mistake. I just assumed that fader9 from my controller is sending CC9. Now I see, I actually don't know what it is sending, gotta look that up. I assume it's CC7 thentonio wrote:CC9 for volume? wha? isn't the MIDI protocall CC7?

Tencrazy has some neat mfx tools posted for free here. There is a port diagnostic tool, which you can use to know exactly what's coming out,,,
