I would like to participate in the beta test of the digitalmusician.net plugin for long distance recording over IP.
Anyone here familiar with this, or can share experiences?

no offense but did you look to see who is supporting this (bottom of the page)...free my ass...
This is an idea of the RIAA imo...
But I have always loved the concept, but the realities are not always what the concept envisions...

So what? If it works as advertised, this opens up a lot of opportunities.
Anyway, the question was if anyone has any experiences with this. So, I'll give that another try...

netsound is so right...why dont you tell that same thing to many of the artists that were ripped off by the RIAA...apparently the answer to your question is no, not yet (anyhow I'm giving it a couple of bumps for yah).peter01 wrote:So what? However like I say the concept has been one that has intrigued me for a while. But the legal ramifications and disputes that could arise merit serious attention.
It seems too me the one that will win there is the one with the money...the RIAA.(and they have a pretty firm reputation for sneaking in fine print) That may be the reason people are not familiar with it, they dont trust it.
I know FL has the callob forum...I can't speak for it's success because I think I have logged into it 3 times...

Ok, I give in
Now what is this RIAA monstrosity and what have I got to do with it, not being american and only interested in recording voice-overs (copyrighted by legal educational publishers in Europe) in foreign languages by native speakers?
