Ive got a copy of LE that came with a sound card. I would like to upgrade to a better version of Cubase. I was looking at Cubase SL or possibly getting the Cubase SX3 version.
I only record in midi with samplers and soft synths. Occasionally my friend may bring his guitar over for some audio recording.
Im not sure if it warrants getting SX3 vs SL. Anyone have any advice or experience in this matter?
Now I also have Delta Live which I believe would give me the opportunity to get the SX3 competitive upgrade for only $399 instead of doing the LE to SX upgrade for $499?
Upgrading Cubase LE

Hi there,
I guess for what you describe as your needs, SL will be plenty enough. Don't underestimate it. It can do most of the stuff SX can do minus some of course.Have a look HERE [use right-click->save target under...).
As to the competitve upgrade, this won't work with Live Delta. You'd need a FULL version
of the app to apply, otherwise it would be too nice 'n easy to get a cheap version of the flagship SX
