What do these descriptons mean? (taken from their website):

Solo Violin -
• vibrato, p, mf, f

I know what a vibrato is, but what do those letters mean?

:?:

Post

Like many musical terms and abbreviations, they're Italian.

p = piano (soft), mf = mezzo-forte (medium loud), f = forte (a dandy non-sequencer host for live performance, made by Brainspawn) (or loud)

You might also run into pp = pianissimo (very soft), ff = fortissimo (very loud), sfz = sforzando (suddenly turning loud), and others.

And specific to EWQLSO (and similar products) you may see DXF, dynamic cross-fade. Lets your modwheel cross-fade between two samples.

And now for a sentence that has never been uttered before: Now there's a skunk who really knows his Italian!
Excuse all the blood.
