e.t.c. what cAn i do?? p.s. yes i cheked the root folder and it has all the instruments in it but it wount load!!!

ok.. i have installed it recently
but when i try to load an instrument

you loaded the sounds on your harddrive, went to preferences on the SS2 GUI, and pointed the root there to your sound folder? Then click ok,,,then maybe you have to hit relist. Are the sounds listed in the browser screen??

You have to make sure you've dragged over ALL of the sounds from both DVDs and browse to it from the preferences or just make sure you drag it into the SS2Instruments folder. You must make sure you put the combi patches in the SS2Presets folder (those are he .ikmp files). It should work. Try reinstantiating it (opening it up again).
There are a couple of combi patches that are missing some parts (we'll fix them for next update but for now just skip it if you hit one... one out of thousands though). One I know if is called "New World Symphony" which unfortunately is missing a few sounds. It won't load properly. But, 99.9% of everything else should.
You can also talk to IK tech suppport for more help. Email IK or call. More info on www.soniksynth.com
