Hi Guys
In cooperation with gregjazz (aka: geoffkhan)
we are about to release the New Ultimate Bass Kit.
13 Real Bass Soundsets / Styles, available in Soundfont and ManyStation format. ($29.99 single format or $34.99 for both formats)
Compatible with all Wusik Engine products. The ManyStation / Wusik version comes with a great Preset Bank also, that makes these soundsets Shine!

Release will be any day now (*I had ip trouble here so it was delayed a day or 2) untill then we are releasing the pdf manual, authored by Simon Cann, so you can see what the set is all about.
Get it here:

http://www.manytone.com/UBKManual/ManytoneUBKmanual.pdf

This is a nice read about Bass styles and Playing techniques and has full details about all the Samples included, so have a look if this Bass Kit interests you.

There are some MP3s in the UBK thread in the Sample forum here at kvr to hear this amazing set. Link here:

I hope to have the New Website up and ready for purchase by tomorrow. (Friday ... providing my ip stays up)
Thanks
Paul

Great. Thank you. Looking forward to the release.

Any recommendations on which edition is better if I can play/use both?

Regards

Edit> I take the question back, read the answer in the manual, thank you.

By Far the ManyStation / WusikStation Version is the Best way to go.
The presets alone give the soundsets so much more velocity sensitivty and sound options. The Sound design possibilities in the Wusik Engine take these sets MUCH farther than SF2 ever could.

The Soundfonts have only the soundfonts ready to load .... No presets come with them. That said ..... They will still be the best Bass Soundfont Package available for the Money!
We may have a Special also for New Users to Pick up ManyStation and the Ultimate Bass Kit together and save a couple Dollars.
If there is any interest in this i will see what we can do.

The manual looks good Paul. And it looks like alot of time and effort has gone into the sounds, just have to wait for the release I guess :( Any news on the Freesets??

The first ManyTone FreeMore is still in the works here.
I nearly had it ready then realized i had mapped all the DrumKits in the wrong octave .... How i did this i don't know but it wasted alot of work ...It took me forever to do to these mappings :-(
So ... i was hoping jtx was going to have his sample mapper open WSND files so i can fix things without starting from scratch.
Anyways we will have this Big Free set coming soon.
It is up High on the list of things to finish.

When you have them ready for download, please do not compress the soundfont with any tools that MAC users do not have access to. I don't know how large the files are, but this could make for a mess trying to decompress on a Mac. Also, did you say the SF version does not have presets? What exactly do you mean? They are mapped and velocity sensative, correct?

Thanks,
Glau

By presets, he means presets in Manystation. You can combine several diff sounds and apply onborad FX etc.

Yes the Soundfonts are mapped and some sets have layers built in to them. I just mean in ManyStation Format we have a Bank of Presets to go with them .... These add extra depth to the sounds as we can layer them further and apply EQ and FX and Modulation etc. For example we have some splits and some Mod wheel mappings etc in the UBK ManyStation package.

Basically ManyStation allows for more sound design options than the Soundfont spec allows :-)
They are in Rar format which can be opened on a Mac.

As a WusikStation owner only I'm interested in what deals you are offering for the UBK along with ManyStation as I may well pick up both at the same time.

The UBK is a given and I'd like to see the Ultimate Guitar Kit put through the same ManyStation treatment to tell you the truth.

But ManyStation might be a nice bonus if there's a deal on with the UBK. I'm kinda interested in Claire's cello instrument.

And by the way....HURRY UP! :D

I do want to do more guitars in the future, but I think with the experience of making the UBK I can do a much better job at it. Perhaps we'll have a Really Ultimate Guitar Kit... :hihi:

That would be great Greg, and if the ManyStation engine ends up suiting the UBK, I'm sure the UGK will find it equally suitable.

Here's hoping anyway.

Caleb/Manytone>> I may be interested too. Also because Wusik owners already get a discount. :)
