Hi, is there any program that converts soundfont programs to RM 4? I have some drum soundfonts by sonic implants that I would like to use in RM4. Thanks.

Sorry, Linplug's Room 4 drum sampler.

I'm not sure if Awave will convert or not, you could try the demo. However if you have the Vienna 2.3 soundfont editor it allows you to strip out the individual samples in .wav format then you could use those to build your RM IV kits. A little work but free. Another free alternative would be to use the SFZ soundfont player and just load your fonts into that.

RM4 is a closed format – so no conversion tools available – only way to do it that I know of is – strip the waves out of the font, then load them into the pads of RM4, try to keep the layers too.

Thanks, I ended up converting them to LM-4 and saving them as RM4.
