Recently I have gotten my hands on real nice sounding Drum Soundfont ( The nskit_7 from natural studio http://www.naturalstudio.co.uk/). The great sound of this set make me go through all the trouble to use the Soundfonts as opposed to the VSTs I am used to.
While I do enjoy the sound I am getting with the soundfont, I've run into a problem. It seems that MIDI tracks in Cubase are not included in the Audio Mixdown, as I guess they aren't sent to the Stereo Out bus. This was obviously not a problem using VSTs, however since the Soundfont uses the MIDI track itself it is becoming a problem.
Is there a way to get the sound coming from the MIDI track either onto an audio track ( which would be ideal since I could then add EQ and such) or some other method of getting it into the mixdown?
An answer as soon as possible would be great.
Thanks for your time,
Eric.

The manual should definately tell you how to route your Midi tracks to the Soundfont and how to bounce down this to an audio track. It is a Very Common Procedure in any host. I don't use cubase so i can't tell you how to do it in Cubase, but every single manual i have read for all my Hosts does explain this Midi bounce process clearly, I can't see it not being explained in the cubase manual.
