Hi,
It's my only one issue with Firefox: i can't connect to my server via ftp, i mean is this possible with this browser? I keep using IE for that. IE connect itself automatically, i entered the password only once and now everytime it's a one link click step.
With firefox i get an alert message "530 Login incorrect"
thanks for any advice.

Try the FireFTP extension.
Adds an FTP client to Firefox, basic compared to some of the standalone clients out there but perfectly useable (and convenient) for day to day stuff.
You'll notice some negative comments about the latest release on the download page, all I can say is it works fine for me.

using this format,
ftp://username:password@101.101.101.101:portnumber
I have not had any trouble.
replace username with the user login
replace password with the password
replace 101.101.101.101 with the ip
replace portnumber with the portnumber
I believe firefox will only do passive mode so if you are using port mode on your ftp, you might not be able to use firefox for it.

Thanks for the replies
,
As i don't know the port and ip, the FireFTP seems more appropriate for me. I have nevertheless an issue with it: the host,login and password are not remembered (this option is checked under preferences) annoying...

try filezilla - it's a standalone ftp program, a free one, quite easy to use and worked like charm for me on windows.
