Gmail is alright, but there is a limit on the size of the files you can send yourself (if that is how you'd use it)

Alternatively you could use something like this http://www.viksoe.dk/code/gmail.htm along with your gmail account.

I was thinking more alomng the lines of something similar to Streamload: http://www.streamload.com/

This is for sharing files and edits with collaborators.

Looks nice to me! Except that it's not free (unless you're ok with 100MB/month).
