It was surprisingly good indeed. Didn't care about the artist before, but when I got that album...
This reminds to put it on my playlist again

The Airdrawndagger album, Expander,Belfunk and Scorchio was mostly the work of Charlie May. He was the main man behind the productions of Sasha. Except Bloodclock (James Holden) and Immortal (Sasha) he was the one who wrote the tracks on Airdrawndagger. He is also the half of Spooky (the other half is Duncan Forbes, they produced tracks like Little Bullet, Andromeda, Belong...) and has a solo EP called Bug EP and he also made some remixes (Mandalay, Orbital, Josh Gabriel). Since Involver Sasha produces his tracks alone as far as i know, but he uses lots of samples created by Charlie (there was the Ableton remix competition with Sasha, and lots of the samples where signed with Charlies name). He is really a 'behind the scenes' man, not that popular, but creates always high quality music. Definitely one of my favs.

he overspeaks his work on airdrawndagger though. Interviews with sasha say that he did a good amount but not nearly as much as charlie says, and hearing the live work sasha is now doing with ableton I believe sasha.9b0 wrote:The Airdrawndagger album, Expander,Belfunk and Scorchio was mostly the work of Charlie May. I'd like to believe Sasha, but after listening to Charlies tracks... Airdrawndagger sounds similar to all the 4 Belong versions, and a bit like Bug EP to me. The 2 tracks on Xpander EP sound similar to the Mandalay remix (to me again). If i listen to Involver and to Immortal, i can hear that it was the same man who made them. While listening to Bloodclock and to Breaks in the Clouds, i can hear again, that it was the same buddy.Chase wrote:he overspeaks his work on airdrawndagger though. This is only my point of view at all.
