The step sequencer in ONE is orientated towards quickly adding extra drum/percussion parts to loops, or making up your own beats.
You can set the pitch, volume and pan of any of the 32 samples assigned to the step sequencer, but you can't set values for individual steps. There is an accent feature that can boost the volume of specific steps though for a given sample.
