i really hope somebody can point me in the right direction. I don't have a lot of money so i'd really prefer it to be very cheap if not free. where can i find good brass and strings with velocities and crap like that suitable for east european gypsy music. i've adopted gypsy music as my new project and i'd love to be able to make it sound as realistic as possible. i'm looking for dirty sounding violins, various brass instruments (tuba, trumpet, trombone), accordion and maybe even cymbalom (hammered dulcimer) i want to make the guys in the off topic caption contest come alive. i attempted a song using the free sjo soundfonts. they're good but i'm looking for something better. i'm not looking for a lot of variety. just the best of the individual instruments. mainly for solo purposes and unconventional use of these instruments (to the westernized robot ears) .... we miss you xoxos!!!
