whats the stupidest 'anti software' argument u've heard?

There are a lot of passionate hardware freaks out there, nothing wrong with that. But some of their reasoning behind why, in their opinion music softeware is worse than their hardware is sometimes laughable. So let's hear some of the silly things you've heard these people say.

I have a friend that has hangups about filters. He adores his $2000 hardware sampler coz of its filters. but he's just the 'hardware sounds better' to hide behind the fact that he doesnt have any talent.

Or another person i know, who was complaining how V-Station doesnt has a good a bass sound as the Hardware K-Station. never mind that her heard them under different listening conditions, weeks apart, with different patches/settings.. yet they're so passionate about their arguments.

The best i have heard is that everything with computers are fake and to create a song you only have to push enter
I moved from my computer and told the pro hardware guy to create a song in 5min (and suddenly he had some urgent things to do and had to go)
Have never heard any bad thing about computer generated music after that

The second thing i have heard is that Vst instruments are not real synths since they are in your computer

software FX aren't as good as hardware FX like the distressor, 1176, LA2A, and Neve EQs though they are catching up - UADs and URS stuff. But Vstis sound just as good as hardware stuff, my favorites being Fm7, Z3ta+, and Absynth. Now all I need is an AMD 128 8999+ to run all the instances i need.

How ironic. I've all but abandoned my hardware sampler (Yamaha A4000) in part because the filters are crap; I've heard countless software ones which are far better. Another common argument against software is that hardware is more immediate and you have real controls... but again, this is moot on something like an A4000. The knobs have minds of their own and frequently adjust values in the opposite direction of what you want. Importing, editing, and mapping samples is a major chore. I can understand the anti-software argument against, say, a real analog synth, but for a sampler? Come on, the hardware sampler market is dead for good reason. Gigasampler, Kontakt, Halion, EXS-24, and probably several others easily outclass and outperform hardware samplers that once cost five figures.
