Hi,
I've always been interested in this plugin, but kept waiting for a demo, or at least an audio demo. Does anyone have any experience with it? Does it sound good? Is it simple to use?
If anyone has an audio example using it, please post if you can.
Thanks!
Glau

Not exactly. Kantos uses audio input to control the pitch (and other things) of a wavetable oscillator. Magenta uses midi input to control the pitch of an audio track or live input. Magenta is a bit of a mystery plugin. I think I first heard of it in 2001 but I've never heard an audio example of it. It's still on version 1.0.0 after 4 years and there's no Mac demo (BTW, I think glaucomys is a Mac user so guess he's out of luck).ttoz wrote:Hmm, seems to be the exact same concept as Antares Kantos, minus the Pace Interlok copy protection! Thanks for the link! gotta try this out.
I remember a KvR discussion about Magenta a couple of years ago. Ned Bouhalassa finally got tired of the lack of demos and just went ahead and bought the darned thing (he's a Mac user, too). Can't remember seeing him mention it after that, maybe he'll chime into this thread.
Now that I've got a PC I might try this thing, let us know how you do with it.
